Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced Room Leader and practitioners to oversee daily operations within our childcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, with a passion for working with children. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, and maintaining high standards of childcare. The position is full-time and offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in early childhood education or nursery settings to advance their career within a supportive team.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of staff and children during shifts Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times Support staff in delivering high-quality childcare and early childhood education programmes Maintain effective communication with parents, staff, and management Organise activities that promote development and engagement for children Monitor staff performance, provide guidance, and facilitate training where necessary Manage administrative tasks such as record keeping, attendance, and reporting Drive company policies to uphold a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for children and staff

Skills

Proven management and leadership experience within childcare or nursery settings Posses level qualification in childcare Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Experience working with children, including nursery or early childhood education background Knowledge of childcare regulations and health & safety standards Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively under pressure Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Driving licence is desirable for transporting equipment or children if required Compassionate approach with a genuine interest in child development and welfare

Pay: 28,420.00-29,000.00 per year
