Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to oversee daily operations in our childcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for working with children, and the ability to effectively manage a team. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children while supporting staff in their roles.

Duties

Lead and motivate staff members to deliver high-quality childcare and early childhood education. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns. Drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience for children. Oversee the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote development in various areas. Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, incidents, and developmental milestones. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration.

Qualifications

level 3 or equivalent Previous experience in a leadership role within a childcare setting is preferred. Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage a team effectively while promoting a supportive atmosphere. Experience working with children in various capacities, including nursery settings. A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development.
