Summary

We're looking for an

Experienced HGV Class 2 RORO Driver

to join our friendly team at our Mitsubishi site in Billingham.

If you have experience in a RORO role, then this is the perfect opportunity to join this family run business with our 60 years of Demolition industry experience.

You must also be happy to stay away Mon-Fri

Responsibilities

Thorough vehicle checking before each journey Work away from home during the week, sleeping in the lorry (Mon- Fri) Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects using designated forms. Secure loads safely to prevent spillage or debris on public roads. Maintain accurate paperwork and submit it promptly. Communicate with site office regarding delays, incidents, or updates. Load and unload following safety procedures. Experience with skip loaders or hook loaders is often preferred.

Working on site in Billingham, TS23 Mon-Fri

Requirements - the ideal candidate will:

Have held a HGV Class 2 license for a minimum of one year Have a valid Driver Qualification Card / Driver CPC Digital Tachograph card Experience in driving a Class2 lorry equipped with RORO systems to transport waste or materials. (Hook loaders preferred)

Weekly pay Initial salary will be dependent on experience Pension Scheme Healthcare plan Working hours are Mon-Fri (5 days a week) 45 hours basic plus overtime at an enhanced rate of pay 4 nights out required due to location each week
