This new role in our Pro Trade Team is an entry level role for those with a passion for roses, plants and gardening. This would suit someone that is willing to learn from our technical experts to develop their expertise. We see this as a stepping stone to becoming a Rose Consultant representing our brand in front of professional horticulture experts and some of our biggest customers, so having confidence, enthusiasm for roses and plants and a desire to learn, alongside well-developed communication skills, will serve you well. Full training will be provided.

The Professional Trade Services teams' key focus is to aspire to be the leading experts in the field of roses. As custodians of all existing rose gardens in the UK, we aim to inspire use of roses in private and public garden schemes, ensuring that once selected they thrive. We also look after garden designers, landscapers and amenity services, carry out garden design, and act as technical support to the wider business.

This role is based at Albrighton, but the role does require the incumbent to be out 3-4 days per week visiting customers. Nights away will be required. (Accommodation and expenses will be covered).

What you'll do day to day

Build meaningful relationships with customers through regular contact (phone, email, social media, trade shows, in person visits, training etc) Offer bespoke planting plans and expert advice, help with planting updates and possible improvements Administrative customer support (e.g. processing payments, managing sales orders, tracking orders and arranging delivery schedules) and ensuring seamless experience across all communication channels. Collaborate with other teams/ colleagues to maintain and develop existing and new business accounts. Represent the company at trade shows. Setting up, attending and engaging with visitors. Deliver training and advisory sessions for clients and internal teams. Advising clients and internal stakeholders on product selection, care and best use. Enhancing brand presentation across plantings, including signage, labelling and consumer information. Undertake physical, hands on gardening tasks such as planting, pruning and other practical garden work.

What you'll bring to the role:

A genuine passion for plants and a curiosity to keep learning - especially about roses. Excellent communication skills and a desire to share knowledge. A friendly, approachable nature with the ability to build lasting relationships. Highly organised, self-motivated and able to work independently. Strong collaboration skills and confidence to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels. Commercial awareness with a results driven approach. Flexible, adaptable and ready to take on new challenges. High emotional intelligence, honesty and integrity. Fully IT literate with strong attention to detail. Customer focussed with a commitment to deliver excellence. Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the UK A full UK driving licence ( a vehicle will be provided)
