Job Summary

Ross & Friends is seeking dedicated Operation Assistants to join our dynamic team. This role combines customer service, animal care, and park operations to ensure that both dogs and their owners enjoy a safe, welcoming, and fun environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent people skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Customer Experience & Engagement

Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for dog owners and their pets. Meet and greet customers, respond to their questions, and provide assistance as needed. Give tours to new customers and explain park features. Address customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally. Booking checkins and verify that each booking meets park requirements.

Safety & Dog Supervision

Monitor dog behavior and interactions to ensure a safe and positive environment. Intervene appropriately in cases of aggressive or unsafe behavior. Promote positive socialization among dogs and guide owners on safe practices. Administer basic first aid to dogs for minor injuries. Handle emergency situations, such as dog fights or injuries, including contacting authorities or veterinary services if required. Keep accurate records of incidents and issues during shifts.

Park Operations

Ensure visitors follow park rules and regulations, and clearly communicate the importance of compliance. Perform regular safety checks across the park and facilities. Coordinate repairs and improvements as needed.

Skills

Experience working with animals preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-stress situations. Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with attention to detail.

Pay: 8.00-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
