Job Description

Make a real difference behind the scenes!

At Wilderness Way, we provide specialist residential care for children that's truly life changing. We're passionate about delivering trauma-informed, high-quality care--and none of it would be possible without the right people, in the right place, at the right time.

What you'll do:

As our Rota Manager , you'll be at the heart of our operations--owning the planning, optimisation, and delivery of team rotas across our services. Working closely with colleagues across Operations, Finance, and HR, you'll ensure rotas are accurate, compliant, cost-effective, and most importantly, built with people in mind.

You'll lead on our workforce management system, turn data into insight, and help drive better decisions that directly impact the care we deliver and the wellbeing of our colleagues.

What we're looking for:

Experience in rota planning, workforce coordination, or resource management--ideally in care, healthcare, or a similar setting

Confidence using workforce management systems and rota planning tools

Sharp eye for detail, with strong analytical and organisational skills

Data-driven mindset--you know how to spot trends and make them work for you

A collaborative approach--you're comfortable engaging with colleagues across different departments

Ability to balance operational needs, colleague wellbeing, and financial considerations

Knowledge of working time regulations or employment law is a bonus

Why join us?

Be part of a forward-thinking organisation with a powerful mission
