Rotational Occupational Therapist

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full or part time permanent band 6 occupational therapist to join our rotation programme. This post provides the opportunity to develop your clinical skills, knowledge and leadership across a range of settings within the acute and community assessment bed setting. This role would be suitable for someone seeking to develop their clinical and leadership skills at Band 6 level in a wide range of specialities.



You will benefit from working in a busy NHS Trust offering rotational experience in the following: Medicine, Respiratory, Neurology/Stroke, Orthopaedics and Early Intervention.?Some of the rotational teams roster over a seven-day period. Venues for delivering our services include inpatient wards, and community inpatient bed settings.



To provide assessments and interventions to patients within the rotational settings. To participate in professional supervision and training for other occupational therapists, students and therapy assistants. To assist the team lead in planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating the service provided to patients, on a day-to-day basis. To provide additional support in the absence of the team lead and to the wider teams as required. To actively contribute to service improvements to ensure practice is of the highest quality, evidence based and meets the needs of the local population.
