Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join our Musculoskeletal (MSK) Service on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This role is based in Clinic 10 at King's Mill Hospital and offers the chance to work within a dynamic and busy environment.



Referrals into the service come from A&E, fracture clinics, Trauma & Orthopaedics wards, and primary care, so applicants must have previous MSK experience and be confident working autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality, effective physiotherapy interventions for inpatients and outpatients to maximise functional ability and health outcomes.



Assess, treat, and advise patients with acute or chronic conditions, including those with complex presentations, using evidence-based practice.

Rotate every 9 months across:

MSK Outpatients



Orthopaedic Inpatients



Rheumatology Outpatients



Paediatric MSK Outpatients



Deliver training and education to physiotherapy, occupational therapy, medical, nursing, and other professional staff/students as required.



Contribute to continuous improvement and support the provision of the highest quality patient care.
