Job Title: Rotational Radiographer - Salary: \xc2\xa339,000 - Full-time - Hospital/Hospice - 37.5 hours per week
Private Hospital currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Radiographer to join our busy Imaging Department. As a Rotational Radiographer, you will play a crucial role in performing various diagnostic radiographic procedures throughout the Hospital, including General X-ray, Theatres, Fluoroscopy, and CT. In addition, you will actively participate in the Governance of the Department, ensuring adherence to Risk Management, Health and Safety, and Audit activities.

Rotational Radiographer Responsibilities:
\xc2\xb7Assess the clinical justification of Radiography referrals
\xc2\xb7Provide advice to imaging referrers and patients regarding their referrals
\xc2\xb7Acquire diagnostic images and accurately position patients for a wide range of presentations
\xc2\xb7Operate advanced software on specialized Radiological equipment
\xc2\xb7Organize, coordinate, and prioritize workflow within the department
\xc2\xb7Maintain high professional and patient care standards throughout the Imaging department
\xc2\xb7Participate in a CPD program for all staff
\xc2\xb7Review images and collaborate with Radiologists to consider supplementary imaging procedures
\xc2\xb7Familiarity with technical applications available on Imaging equipment
\xc2\xb7Perform intravenous cannulation and manual injection of contrast agent after appropriate training and/or hospital competency
\xc2\xb7Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure clear communication and efficient care delivery
\xc2\xb7Liaise with other departments/wards within the hospital and external sources to provide comprehensive service
\xc2\xb7Adapt quickly to changes in service, patients, or departmental needs
\xc2\xb7Troubleshoot equipment faults and make necessary provisions in case of equipment failure
\xc2\xb7Demonstrate problem-solving skills for staff allocation and service provision during absence

Rotational Radiographer Requirements:
\xc2\xb7Diagnostic Diploma of College of Radiographers or BSc Hons
\xc2\xb7Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
\xc2\xb7Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in diagnostic imaging
\xc2\xb7Current HCPC registration
\xc2\xb7Demonstrated decision-making skills
\xc2\xb7Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
\xc2\xb7Ability to work independently and accurately
\xc2\xb7Strong presentation skills
