We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Route Driver to join our team. Duties

Operate a flatbed lorry for the delivery of goods to various locations, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and safety standards. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during the route. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise. Provide exceptional customer service by representing the company professionally at all times.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for operating flatbed lorries. Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues as they occur. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules. Previous experience in warehouse operations is advantageous but not essential.
