Job Description

The Grange School is seeking an organised and proactive Rowing Club Administrator to support the efficient day-to-day running of our thriving school rowing programme. Working closely with the Director of Rowing, coaching staff, and pupils, the successful candidate will handle the administrative, logistical, and communication aspects of the club.

Responsibilities

Administration and Coordination



Maintain accurate records for all rowing club members, including consent forms, medical information, and safeguarding documentation. Manage correspondence with parents, pupils, staff, and external organisations (such as regatta organisers and rowing associations). Handle logistics for regattas and training camps. Coordinate transport, catering, and other arrangements for rowing events. Oversee kit orders, ensuring timely communication with suppliers and families.

Financial and Budget Support



Assist with managing the rowing club budget, including tracking expenditure and processing invoices and expenses. Support fundraising, sponsorship, and alumni engagement activities as required.

Communication and Promotion



Act as the main administrative point of contact for the rowing club, providing clear and timely communication to parents and pupils. Coordinate and distribute newsletters, notices, and updates about training schedules, events, and results.

Logistics and Event Support



Assist in planning and organising rowing events, including training camps, regattas, and social occasions. Communication of travel and accommodation requirements to the Bursary team. Maintain the rowing calendar and coordinate with the wider school calendar. Ensure that all documentation relating to health & safety, risk assessments, and safeguarding is up to date and properly filed.

Other



To carry out any other roles commensurate with this role which the Head or Chief Operating Officer deem appropriate to deliver the objectives of the school.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 18,485.25-26,348.57 per year

Expected hours: 14 per week
