This is a unique opportunity to work for one of the top 10 Universities in the world. In addition, Imperial College London is ranked as the number one sporting University in London. We are currently recruiting for to this position on a part-time (0.8 FTE) on a fixed term three-year appointment.



The Move Imperial Department of the Property Division at Imperial is committed to providing sports facilities of the highest standard to staff, students, and the wider community, to promoting sporting excellence and actively encouraging participation in physical activity across all levels, whilst improving inclusiveness and removing barriers to participation.


What you would be doing


---------------------------


Predominantly based at the Boat House in Putney and reporting to the Rowing Programme Manager, you will be required to assist with the delivery of the coaching programme to the student crews at Imperial and support the development of the rowing program.


What we are looking for


---------------------------


You will need to have a British Rowing Coaching Qualification, a full driving licence with allowance to drive a trailer and desirably a RYA Power Boat License. You will have previous experience of working in a similar environment and an understanding of equal opportunities within the context of a student leisure environment.



We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated and has the ability to work independently as well as part of a Team and with a diverse range of people, including students, academics, non-academic staff and the local community.



The position is available on a part-time fixed term three-year contract. Applicants are needing to be flexible and willing to work at other locations, early mornings, evenings, and weekends (on a 5 out of 7-day contract).
