An exciting vacancy is available as a Rugby Academy Forwards + Skills Coach in the Sports department at Cardiff and the Vale College. This post will be based at the Cardiff International Sports Campus and other sites.

Responsibilities include:

To engage in knowledge transfer, continuous professional development, consultancy and other forms of external engagement, as appropriate. Assisting with the development of players through the Academy and Development teams. Assist with the development of all aspects of forward play and associated skills. Assist with development of set piece technique/skills at both scrum and lineout, within safe practices. Be responsible for the coaching of set piece core techniques/skills, along with general core skills of the game (Contact area, catch pass, decision making). Facilitating a player centred culture and environment both on and off the field. In line with Head of Rugby's strategy and linked with the Sports Performance Department. Player communication and individual feedback. Welsh language skills are not essential but would be desirable for this role.
