?Part Time:

30 hours per week (0.80 FTE) - Flexible working hours across Monday to Friday, or 4 days a week.

Work Pattern

: The work pattern for this role is flexible and will be agreed upon with the successful candidate to best meet both the candidate's and the service's needs.

Starting salary:

26,292 per annum rising to 27,835 after 6 month probation - salary will be pro rata for part time hours

Contract:

Fixed term contract until 30th September 2026

Location:

Willingness to travel in and around West Norfolk communities.
Travel to sites in and around Norfolk and Waveney as and when required.

Please note

: Due to the nature of the role, a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are essential. Business insurance is also required. Mileage is reimbursed at 45p per mile for cars, after deducting the mileage between your home and work base.

?Are you passionate about making a difference in rural communities? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Rural Mental Health Coordinator. In this established role, you will still have an opportunity to shape and lead initiatives that support mental health and well-being in rural areas, whilst building on the existing service.

?As the Rural Coordinator you will be responsible for providing mental health support to the people of North West Norfolk in their local communities, with a focus on key employers in the area and a focus on youth. The role will be responsible for triaging, signposting and supporting people on their wellness journey, focussing on strengths rather than illness, and working to prevent isolation and loneliness to develop a stronger, more resilient and sustainable community through a range of services and interventions.??

?Linking in with other agencies and community partners will be key to developing a network of services available to support individuals in their recovery journey.

?What You'll Do:

?

?Support individuals in need presenting in a range of ways, from co-producing a support plan towards recovery, to developing their own safety plan and coping strategies to prevent a crisis situation.?

?Assist in the development of promotional materials and campaigns to increase community engagement.?

?Lead on building relationships with all stakeholders, integrate organisations and build a strong network.?

?Develop and implement community outreach programs focused on mental health education and support.?

?Lead on building relationships with local GPs and external agencies making warm referrals as required. Linking with Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust (NSFT) mental health teams, and Social Care teams as required.?

Essential Experience:

?

?- Previous experience of working within a mental health setting, E.g. Social Work, community care setting.?

?- Mental Health First Aid certification is preferred but not essential. If you do not currently hold this certification, training will be provided.?

?- Experience in community outreach, social work, or a related field, preferably within mental health.?

?- Experience supporting colleagues who have lived experience of mental health issues to excel in their work.?
