Maes Glas Vet: Registered Veterinary Nurse/ Student Veterinary Nurse

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic RVN or SVN to join our lovely team.

The Team

Our practice consists of our main hospital plus our four established branches. Our team consists of dedicated vets, nurses, Animal care assistants and admin. We all work closely together to provide the best experience and help in improving the lives of pets.

We remain committed to excellent clinical care and extremely high standards, including being cat friendly with a Gold level cat friendly status from the ISFM in our hospital.

We cover our own out of hours and have an in house night team.

We provide care 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

You and The Role

Requirements:

This job opportunity is seeking either an RVN or a SVN 1st or 2nd year.

The Role:

Responsibilities include: In patient care, theatre practice, lab duties, admitting/discharging patients, dispensing mediation, billing, running of prep room, day to day upkeep of the practise, administration work and much more.

This is a full time role, That does include some weekend work and you may occasionally be required to cover a Bank holiday.

Why this role stands out:

Pay: from 27094 to 32600 (depending on hours, job title and years qualified) Holidays are 6 weeks, inclusive of Bank Holidays. Additional holiday will be accrued after 3 years' service We have a generous CPD allowance of 600 per annum and 3 days fully paid.
