Job Description

Due to a vast increase in pupil numbers, Ryton Junior School is looking for one Key Stage 1 and one Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to work full time. The post will be fixed term until 31st August 2026 with the hopes of becoming permanent.

Visits to the school are welcomed on Tuesday the 14th of October at 16:00pm

The Governors of Ryton Infant School are seeking to appoint an outstanding and highly motivated teaching assistant to join our hard-working team.

Applications are welcomed from candidates who:

have experience of working in the school environment and a willingness to work across school as needed; have the ability to collect robust evidence about children's learning; can create positive relationships with children, staff and parents; can provide support for children, teachers and the school; have high expectations of all pupils with a commitment to raising standards; have experience of working with and supervising children across school; have a willingness to undertake further training (e.g. First Aid); have the commitment to contribute to the extended life of the school.
