We are seeking a motivated and skilled SaaS Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between our technical capabilities and our clients' needs. You will utilise your expertise in IT and cloud services, including AWS and Azure, to provide tailored solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess excellent presentation and communication skills, enabling them to effectively convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver compelling presentations that showcase our products and services to potential clients.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring client needs are met promptly and effectively.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in IT and cloud services.
Prepare detailed technical documentation and proposals for clients, utilising Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
Manage time efficiently to balance multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Foster strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for clients as needed.
Experience
The successful candidate should have:
Proven experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably within the IT or technology sector.
Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage audiences effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to articulate technical concepts clearly.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure is highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
A customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
