Salary: Scale 6 31,537 to 33,699 pro rata per annum (27,079 to 28,935 actual per annum)

Contract:

Permanent, 37 hours a week, term time only

The Garibaldi School is a successful, popular 11-18 school which serves its community well by providing a first-rate education for all its students. We are looking to appoint a Safeguarding & Pastoral Officer to join our Student Services and Safeguarding team. The main responsibilities of this post are:

To act as a Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring compliance with statutory guidance and school policy Liaise with social care, police and other agencies to ensure appropriate action is taken for children in need or at risk Support students at risk of underachievement due to social, emotional or behavioural issues Ensure the wellbeing, safety and inclusion of all students
