We are looking to appoint a Safeguarding & Pastoral Officer to join our Student Services and Safeguarding team. The main responsibilities of this post are:
To act as a Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring compliance with statutory guidance and school policy
Liaise with social care, police and other agencies to ensure appropriate action is taken for children in need or at risk
Support students at risk of underachievement due to social, emotional or behavioural issues
Ensure the wellbeing, safety and inclusion of all students
You will:
Contribute to the personal development and well-being of students
Have commitment and desire to develop students as individuals
Have a passion for ensuring all students achieve their potential
Be hardworking
Show creativity and innovation
Share an understanding that all members of staff have a collective responsibility to ensure that every student achieves to the best of their ability
