The role & what you take care of:
We are seeking a Safer Communities Lead. This is a permanent, full-time role dedicated to investigating and managing matters related to anti-social behaviour, domestic abuse, and safeguarding. Provide line management for the Community Safety Team and oversee improvement initiatives, leading on Lead on strategic and operational development of Community Safety Service.
Ensure that teams apply ASB and related policies and procedures consistently and appropriately, manage associated risks, follow best practices, and address challenges in case management.
Prepare regular performance reports with actionable plans to address areas of low performance.
Work collaboratively to promote a safe and supportive community culture, demonstrating accountability as appropriate.
Manage enforcement activities related to housing. (A full role profile is attached to this advert)
What you need to be successful:
Demonstrates outstanding leadership and communication abilities, with a proven capacity to function strategically within the housing sector.
Proven experience in service improvement delivery and addressing ASB with successful outcomes.
Ability to self-manage, analyse data and produce reports.
Expert knowledge of ASB, Domestic Abuse, Safe-guarding and key housing legislation.
Experience in team building, drafting complex legal case files, and court presentations.
