Job Introduction
Our Community Safety Enforcement Officers are responsible for improving community safety outcomes throughout the Royal Borough's main Town Centres, secondary shopping areas, parks and housing estates. In support of the Council's approach to Integrated Enforcement, Officers will also be work collaboratively with other enforcement colleagues and agencies, and in other parts of the borough as required. Community Safety Enforcement Officers will be responsible for enforcing against individuals using relevant Anti-Social Behaviour legislation to address low-level environmental offences and breaches of Royal Greenwich's Public Spaces Protection Orders.
Safer Spaces is a trauma-informed service which delivers person-centred compassionate enforcement strategies to tackle persistent anti-social behaviour, crime and disorder issues in public spaces throughout the borough.
Successful applicants will be expected to, assess and identify solutions to enviro crime and wider community safety problems, and collaborate on exciting projects to reduce crime and disorder to make the Royal Borough a safer place to live, work and thrive.
