Summary

We are looking for a safety professional to promote health and safety awareness, monitor safety related functions including risk assessments and safe working practices. We are looking for someone that can assist and engage with colleagues to ensure compliance.

Skills required

Technical Knowledge

- Understanding of health and safety within the construction industry, specifically site safety and risk management.

Attention to Detail

- Ensuring accuracy in investigations and reports.

Communication Skills

- Strong verbal and written communication to facilitate open communications across the region.

Teamwork & Collaboration

- Ability to work effectively with colleagues across different departments.

Collaboration and development

- Proven experience of how to improve H&S awareness and behaviours.

Engagement skills

- Positive attitude, effective communication skills, transparency.

Software Proficiency

- Familiarity with Microsoft packages.

Problem-Solving Mindset

- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.

Site Experience

- Any prior exposure to construction sites or engineering projects.

Qualifications

NEBOSH Construction certificate Technical grade (or above) membership of IOSH
