We are seeking a 0.5WTE safety improvement fellow to deliver key safety improvement initiatives for West London Children's Healthcare.
West London Children's Healthcare brings together services for children and young people at Imperial College Healthcare and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to improve quality, experience and outcomes across all aspects of child health.
The post holder will manage the development and delivery of several projects which will support improvements in patient safety covering key areas such as transitioning well to adult services and PEWS role out. This will include working with a range of stakeholders across the Trust in order to scope, develop and evaluate safety improvement projects.
This one-year fellowship is an excellent opportunity for a doctor in training who is interested in developing their leadership portfolio, to significantly develop their management skills and understanding of the patient safety needs of a large, complex Trust.
Applicants must be registered with General Medical Council with a licence to practise and eligible for entry to ST3 level training. Experience/interest in paediatrics is desirable for the role.
