NATO DIANA is the Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic, a NATO body dedicated to finding and accelerating innovation to provide decisive defence and security effects for the Alliance, while fostering deep-tech innovation.
NATO DIANA is comprised of a Board of Directors, representing all 32 nations, and an operational team referred to as the DIANA Executive ("DX"). Operating from three offices in Europe and North America, the DX leverages a network of military end users, world-leading accelerator sites, test centres, professional mentors and experts, and Allied expertise to accelerate the most innovative technologies from across the NATO Alliance. 2. OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
The Safety, Security & Resilience Analyst is responsible for supporting investigations and detailed analysis of entities, individuals and incidents to identify potential risks and will oversee and apply Safety, Security and Resilience (SSR) processes, including coordination of national vetting requirements and assurance tasks.
A core part of the role involves researching and collecting data, working with large datasets, and performing in-depth analysis to provide a decision advantage that reduce economic and downstream risks.
In addition, the role requires coordinating SSR matters across health and safety, security and business continuity domains, ensuring effective communication and alignment between stakeholders. The Safety,Security and Resilience Analyst is expected to engage with internal and external stakeholders, delivering awareness sessions, and promoting a collaborative, transparent approach to working within DIANA.

Reporting to the Head of DIANA's Safety, Security and Resilience (SSR).
Duties of this role include:
Conduct detailed open-source research and analysis of entities and individuals to identify risks and present findings verbally and within reports.
Own and coordinate DIANA vetting processes to gain NATO Personnel Security Clearance for staff members and wider as directed.
Aid internal and external SSR related investigations.
Act as point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and facilitate communication between team members and partners in relation to all SSR analysis requirements.
Coordinate and support meetings and planning workshops by preparing agendas and materials, organizing logistics, ensuring necessary resources and tools are available, and capturing action items and outputs for effective project execution
Collect, organise, and analyse large datasets and open-source information to provide strategic insights that reduce economic and downstream risks in NATO DIANA's supply chain.
Support and coordinate SSR activities across health and safety, security, and business continuity domainsas required.
Contribute to the maintenance, update and improvement of the Information and Knowledge Management tools and platforms, team workflows, and taskings, including preparation, handling and saving documents for action or signature according to appropriate NATO guidelines
Perform any other related duties as may be required.
3. ROLE REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL
The incumbent must have:
Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 4 years' post-related experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Analyst or similar roles in Intelligence or Security environments
Proven experience of coordinating vetting services for National Security Clearances.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), as well as MS communication/collaboration tools MS Teams and MS SharePoint.
Demonstrated experience in collecting, organising, and analysing large datasets and open-source information.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Possess the following minimum levels of NATO's official languages (English/French): V ("Advanced") in one; and I ("Beginner") in the other.
NOTE: Most of DIANA's internal work is conducted in the English language.
DESIRABLE
The following would be considered an advantage:
Experience and/or formal qualification in occupational health and safety management, with a particular focus on conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation measures.
Familiarity with configuring and operating common economic protection intelligence tools, including platforms used for monitoring, analysing, and safeguarding supply chain and economic security.
Work experience in innovation, incubation or accelerator settings.
Experience working with project management software/methodologies (i.e. ADO, Smartsheets, Asana, MS Projects or similar).
Experience in multilateral or multicultural environments.
Knowledge of NATO institutional framework, policies and procedures.

5. CONTRACT
In accordance with the NATO Civilian Personnel Regulations, the successful candidate will receive a definite duration contract of three years, which may be followed by an extension.
If the successful applicant is seconded from the national administration of one of NATO's member States, a 3-year definite duration contract will be offered, which may be renewed for a further period of up to 3 years subject to the agreement of the national authority concerned. The maximum period of service in the post as a seconded staff member is six years.
NOTE: Irrespective of previous qualifications and experience, candidates for twin-graded posts will be appointed at the lower grade. Advancement to the higher grade is not automatic and will not normally take place during the first three years of service in the post.

Appointment will be subject to receipt of a security clearance (provided by the national Authorities of the selected candidate) and approval of the candidate's medical file by the NATO Medical Adviser.
