Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments to diagnose medical conditions. Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments. Provide ongoing care for patients in various settings, including home care and nursing homes. Engage in clinical research to stay updated on the latest medical advancements and best practices. Educate patients about health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions. Collaborate with specialists and healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC). Proven experience in patient care, particularly in senior care or hospice environments. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to clinical practice. Experience in medication administration and management of chronic illnesses. Familiarity with public health principles and practices is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a high standard of care. Commitment to continuous professional development and clinical research initiatives.
