An exciting opportunity has arisen at Morthen Road Group Practice.

With 12.250 patients over 3 sites, this well established practice is looking for a forward thinking GP for 6 sessions per week.

The right candidate, will be a true team player with energy and enthusiasm to make a difference to our patients. They will work closely within a multi-disciplinary team of 4 GP and 1 ANP partners, and clinicians including GPs, ANPs, Pharmacists, Nurses, Nurse Associates, Health Care Assistants and a range of ARRS staff.

Clinicians are supported by our amazing Reception and Admin teams along with an approachable and forward thinking leadership team.

Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments
- Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments as necessary
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as medical imaging or laboratory tests
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and promote healthy lifestyle choices

Skills:
- Knowledgeable in medical imaging techniques and interpretation
- Skilled in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Strong patient care skills, including effective communication and empathy
- In-depth understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Knowledge of nursing home regulations and protocols for elderly care
- Understanding of public health principles and disease prevention strategies
- Ability to provide compassionate end-of-life care
