Part time - Monday - Wednesday 09:00- 17:00
Due to continued growth in business, Ryedale Auctioneers is looking to expand its team within the saleroom and logistics team.
We're looking for an organised and hands-on
Saleroom Assistant
to join our busy auction team. You'll play a key role in preparing our salerooms for auction days -- helping to lay out, move, and manage items, while ensuring everything runs smoothly for both customers and colleagues.What you'll do:
Set up and display furniture and small items attractively in the showroom Move, load, and unload items safely between vehicles, stockrooms, and salerooms Support stock control and cataloguing by checking, cleaning, and preparing items Assist customers during viewings, sales, collections, and deliveries Work closely with valuers and the wider team to ensure smooth auction operations
What we're looking for:
A practical, reliable team player with a strong work ethic Good communication skills and attention to detail Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling A positive attitude and willingness to learn Full Clean Drivers Licence
