This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to commence a career working in the auction world. The position is two fold and we are looking for someone who has a demonstrated interest and experience in photography as well as someone who would be able to manage the incoming property and layout of the Saleroom ahead of an auction. The role would particularly suit an individual who has completed an internship at an auction house, gallery or a similar institution.
Ideally you will have a qualification in Art History, Photography or a similar related subject, excellent computer literacy, experience in Adobe Workshop or a similar programme and a demonstrated interest in the auction world.
Your role would encompass everything from lotting up a sale to conducting telephone bidding, photographing items for an auction catalogue to moving property around the Saleroom. As part of a small team, you would be involved in every aspect of working in the auction sector.
A driving licence is essential. Competitive salary dependant on experience.
