The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing existing client relationships, driving revenue growth, and identifying new business opportunities within these clients.
This role requires a strong combination of sales expertise, customer relationship management, and strategic planning to meet and exceed sales targets. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator who understands clients' needs and can deliver effective solutions to maximise satisfaction and retention.
The role is customer focused and responsible for supervision of day-to-day customer relationships and service delivery. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working within a demanding role where the balance of customer satisfaction and service delivery is critical. You will be expected to spend time in our Croydon offices but also on site meeting our customers and building relationships with them.

Reporting to the part time Sales and Marketing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day activities, which ensure all client requirements are fulfilled within agreed specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and accounts.
Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and through prospecting efforts.
Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals and post-sale follow-up.
Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.
Collaborate with internal teams (technical, marketing, operations, finance, and customer support) to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements in line with company policies.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies.
Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts using our CRM tools
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to promote the company's products/services.
Continually update and develop product and market knowledge.
Making customers aware of suitable products available to meet their needs.
Customer visits quarterly and creation of roadmaps.
Monitoring when contracts are due for renewal and contacting customers with their new terms/prices for the coming year.
People Management

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
3-7 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Experience in IT services and Cyber Security
Familiarity with data-driven sales approaches and pipeline management.
Understanding of digital sales channels and marketing automation tools.
