Job Purpose:
The Sales Account Manager is dedicated to driving business growth by nurturing existing client relationships and successfully integrating new business opportunities. Working in close collaboration with the Business Development, Service, and Marketing departments, the Sales Account Manager delivers expert guidance and tailored solutions, ensuring our customers receive the highest quality products, insights, and support. Our goal is to empower clients to make informed, confident decisions that enhance their safety and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse portfolio of clients--including existing, new, and web-based customers--by overseeing the full sales cycle from initial enquiry and quotation to order fulfilment and post-sale support.
Handle inbound communications across multiple channels, including email, telephone, web chat, and the company's online enquiry form.
Proactively follow up on quotations and sales enquiries to convert opportunities within defined timeframes.
Provide expert advice and tailored recommendations to help customers identify the most suitable solutions for their specific requirements.
Drive account growth by increasing customer spend through strategic cross-selling and up-selling initiatives, while building long-term relationships.
Engage daily with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service and collaboration.
Partner with the Business Development Manager to identify high-potential accounts and areas requiring focused growth strategies.
Participate in internal and external training sessions to continuously enhance product knowledge and professional development.
What we are looking for:
Demonstratable experience in delivering excellent customer service.
Proven experience in a sales role and understanding of KPI deliverables.
Confidence in maximising sales opportunities through proactive communication, verbally and digitally.
Ability to problem-solve and be adaptable to market changes.
Knowledge of gas detection and safety equipment (Desirable but not essential).
