As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Sales Administrator to join our friendly team.
What you'll be doing
We're known for our excellent customer service so in your role, you'll be expected to support with the smooth running of all sales orders from order to fitting.
Your responsibilities will include:
Submitting quotes and sales invoices via our accountancy package Xero
Maintaining our customer database ensuring all information is accurate and up to date
Processing sales orders and handling the related paperwork
Liaising with suppliers and fitters to arrange deliveries and installations
Liaise with our customers in the run up to their fitting sending reminders and making sure everything is in order for a smooth experience
Keeping accurate records, stock information, and appointment schedules
Assisting customers in-store and over the phone with enquiries and product selections
Your days and hours of work
Your normal hours per week will be 25-30 per week.
You will be expected to work a Saturday morning from 10am to 1.00pm to cover our retail shop and the remaining hours will be worked over 4 other days (Monday to Friday).
What we're looking for
We're a busy team so we're looking for someone who works proactively and can show initiative. You'll be expected to book in appointments so you'll need a good geographical knowledge of the local area so our team can travel efficiently
You'll also need to demonstrate:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence both over the phone and when dealing with customers face-to-face
Strong written communication skills, with good spelling and grammar
Confident IT skills with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service is a plus
A proactive, customer-focused attitude and strong attention to detail
If you have knowledge of the accountancy package Xero, that would be advantageous but not essential.
What we offer
Rate of Pay: 13.50 - 15.00 per hour depending on experience
