The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Part-Time Sales Administrator. This role is essential for supporting our sales operations, specifically covering two key business days: Thursday and Friday.
Role Scope and Responsibilities:
The sales administration team provide essential support to our Sales colleagues. The duties outlined represent the core responsibilities of the position; however, the role encompasses a flexible range of administrative tasks and collaboration with team members to meet business needs. Comprehensive, role-specific training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Respond to sales enquiries by phone, email or in person.
Maintain spreadsheets for Sales leads, quotes and order.
Process orders received by phone, post, email or in person.
Take deposits and raise invoices.
Create records on our database for new customers and contractors.
Make up new customer files.
Request customer security monitoring and upload key-holder information.
Book installs into our calendar.
Check engineering paperwork for any spec changes, additional costs or works.
Update specs where necessary and send out to the customer.
Phone Directory - add or update existing customer details when processing orders
Scan install paperwork and save to customer record
Email install paperwork to customer
Raise invoice and mark details on paper file
Put invoice on Sales Spreadsheet
Raise NSI certificate.
Complete paper installation checklist.
Answer phones - general pick up.
Assist with filing.
The Ideal Candidate:
Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Demonstrated professionalism, a positive attitude, and good customer care abilities.
??Technical Proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and cloud storage platforms (OneDrive, Dropbox). Experience in some or all of these areas would be an advantage.
??Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and integrate new software applications and internal systems.
??Integrity & Discretion: A strong understanding of, and commitment to, data privacy and confidentiality protocols.
??Experience: Previous administrative experience is a distinct advantage.
Flexibility: The successful candidate may be required to work extra hours or alternative days for the initial training. There may be occasions where additional hour are necessary in order to cover annual leave.
Our Offer:
Salary: 12.75 per hour (13.02 from April 2026)
20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays + increase based on service length.
Entitlements are pro rata for part time staff.
