With over three decades of experience, we have been dedicated to supporting schools and childcare centers across the UK and beyond, providing innovative, high-quality educational tools that nurture young minds and foster a love for learning. During that time it is estimated that over 4 million Cicada products have been successfully used by around 100,000 schools and childcare centres in the UK and beyond. Our continued growth is built upon getting the right products to our customers, and then to the schools at the right price. We do this by holding stock in our UK warehouse and giving our customers the choice of a UK and Pan European drop shipment, direct to their customer or into their warehouse, should they prefer.

About the Role



We are looking for an organised, proactive, and customer-focused

Sales Administrator & Customer Service Representative

to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting sales operations while delivering excellent customer service.

You will be a key point of contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring orders, enquiries, and sales processes run smoothly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities



Providing high-quality customer service via phone, email, and online enquiries Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently Supporting the sales team with administration, quotes, and order tracking Maintaining customer records and updating CRM systems Handling customer queries, complaints, and after-sales support professionally Liaising with internal departments to ensure timely delivery and resolution Preparing reports, invoices, and general sales documentation

About You



An associate or bachelor's degree in business administration or similar preferred. Previous experience in sales administration and/or customer service preferred Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills. Experience with industry software such as SAGE, Xero or Freeagent preferred. Advanced knowledge of administrative recordkeeping. Familiarity with sales reports and sales records. Proficiency with Word and Excel software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
