Job Summary



We are seeking an organised and proactive

Sales Administrator

to join our office-based team in Totnes. The successful candidate will support the sales function by managing customer enquiries, processing orders, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, production, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities



Process customer orders, quotations, and enquiries accurately and efficiently

Prepare and issue sales documentation including quotations, order confirmations, and invoices

Maintain and update customer records in the CRM/ERP system

Act as a point of contact for customer queries via phone and email

Liaise with production, planning, and quality teams to track order progress

Assist with delivery coordination and liaise with logistics providers

Produce regular sales and order reports for management

Support the sales team with general administrative duties

Skills and Experience Required



Previous experience in a sales administration, customer service, or office administration role

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

Confident written and verbal communication skills

Competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines

Desirable Skills and Experience



Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments

Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems

Knowledge of order processing and logistics coordination
