Job Description

As a detail-oriented and organised Sales Administrator to join our team in the AC/DC UPS / Standby Power industry. As a Sales Administrator, you will provide crucial support to the sales team, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication with clients. Your role will involve managing sales orders, coordinating logistics, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with customer inquiries. Your exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our sales function.

Responsibilities



1. Sales Order Processing: Receive, review, and process sales orders accurately and efficiently. Ensure order details, pricing, and delivery information are recorded correctly. Coordinate with internal departments, such as production, logistics, and finance, to fulfil customer orders in a timely manner.

2. Sales Support: Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide administrative assistance. Assist in preparing sales proposals, quotations, and contracts. Prepare and distribute sales-related documentation, such as product catalogues, brochures, and presentations. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.

3. CRM Management: Maintain and update customer information, sales activities, and communications in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. Generate reports and sales analytics to track key performance indicators and provide insights for sales strategies.

4. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of products to customers. Track shipment statuses, handle any shipping issues, and communicate delivery updates to clients. Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to manage stock levels and replenishment.

5. Sales Documentation and Record-keeping: Maintain accurate and organized sales documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Assist with data entry and record-keeping tasks to facilitate efficient sales operations.

6. Sales Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports, analysing data and trends to provide insights on sales performance, customer behaviour, and market trends. Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance sales efficiency.

Qualifications



- GCSE Level Qualification/ONC/HNC or equivalent. Additional education in business administration or a related field is a plus.

- Proven experience in a sales administration or similar administrative role, preferably in the electrical engineering industry.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and external customers.

- Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software.

- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

- Knowledge of sales processes and familiarity with electrical engineering products and terminology is advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 26,800.00-28,250.00 per year
