The Sales Administrator role provides support to our Sales, Aftersales and Finance teams. This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis and reports to the Retail Sales Managers, and offers the right candidate the opportunity to use organisation and administration skills to primarily assist the vehicle sale process whilst supporting other areas within the company with various administration duties necessary for the role.
What does a Sales Administrator do?
Maintaining vehicle stock records as per vehicle purchases and sales
Coordinating preparation of customer orders within the sales department
Ordering of new vehicles
Organising registration and taxation of new and used vehicles
Liaising with the preparation team to ensure required works are completed on new and use vehicles
Liaising with the dealership accountant ensuring deadlines are met on behalf of the sales department
Arranging invoicing for vehicle sales
Collating deal files for handover to customers and breakdown of completed files for management sign off
Taxing and registration of new and used vehicles
Digitialising key documents and correctly uploading to digital file
Preparing and uploading weekly sales stats for manufacturers forecasting - with the assistance of Retail Sales Managers
General company administration when required
Any other ad-hoc duties requested
Required Skill and Experience
The ideal candidate will need to have previous administration experience ideally from within a vehicle dealership environment with strong IT skills including Excel. In addition to your experience, you will demonstrate the following skills:
