We're seeking a proactive and organised Sales Administrator/Executive to support our Protec Sales Team at Specialised Canvas Services in Staveley. This is a hybrid role combining client account management and internal sales support with essential administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of our sales function.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisation skills, with the confidence to liaise with customers and support the team in delivering outstanding service.
You'll report to the
Sales Team Leader
and be part of a friendly, experienced team working with a wide variety of customers and bespoke textile products.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Support:
Handle incoming sales enquiries by phone and email
Assist in quoting and estimating for customers' orders
Support account managers with customer communications
Maintain and develop existing and new customers, optimising the quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction
To work within the required margin and profit thresholds set out by the Sales Manager
Implementation of sales initiatives
Participate in internal and external sales activities
Attend training courses to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills in parallel with existing training resources and sources of information
Attend exhibitions and events as required (occasional travel)
Administration:
Process sales orders and maintain accurate records
Update customer information in the
Clarity/Pipedrive
CRM system
Generate reports and track sales KPIs
Provide information on performance and results to the Sales Manager
Provide general administrative support to the Sales Team
Assist in the preparation of sales documents, quotes, and presentations
Confident communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisation
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Professional and friendly telephone manner
Comfortable using CRM systems and databases (training provided)
Desirable:
Previous experience in a sales, admin, or customer service role
Experience with bespoke products or technical sales
Driving licence (for occasional travel to events or meetings)
