We have Internal Sales positions to fill at our Colchester Head Office. You'll spend your days in our sales office, talking to existing and prospective customers, helping answer technical queries and assisting them through the purchasing process. You've done this type of job before so you're confident enough to sell the benefits of our service and our products, both of which are excellent by the way!

Hopefully you already know a bit about the stuff that we sell - mostly it's drainage, guttering, fascias, windows and roofing products. However, training will be provided by our friendly team so you can be confident when speaking to customers.

On occasion you might have to help out in the branch but that's ok as you're the sort that likes doing your bit for the team. In fact you've already twigged that working closely with the branch guys is one of the keys to success in this role.

Key skills we're looking for:

IT skills and knowledge of building materials or builder merchants operations desirable but not essential Communication, enthusiasm and team working skills essential Confident in communicating with customers on the phone and by email Friendly and personable manner with good customer service skills Helping customers with technical queries and project specifications Taking and processing quotes and orders Assisting in the smooth running of the branch operation Liaising with suppliers for specialist product ordering and information

*Please note this role is based in our Colchester branch and has the following schedule:

Mon-Fri 7:30am - 5pm

Two Saturdays a month 8am - 12pm

Pay: From 28,500.00 per year
