Job Description

heightec is a leading provider for equipment and training for work at height.

We require a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Advisor to work in a small, busy team, securing sales and growing our market share with existing and potential clients.

The role of the Sales Advisor is to provide accurate and relevant advice to customers about our products and training services together with prompt recording of customer information.

Responsibilities

Maintain contact with allocated accounts to maximise customer relations

Introduce new products and keep customer information up to date

Issue and follow up on quotations

Negotiate sales through to conclusion

Develop new business by proactive contact with prospective customers

Develop customer knowledge in defined market sectors

Process sales orders

Liaise with other team members

Confirm and update customer information on database systems following calls with customers

Continue professional development of technical product knowledge

Other duties as required

Competence

You should have previous sales experience within an office environment. Knowledge of SAGE accounting would be an advantage as well as using a contacts database.

Personal Skills

You should be a confident communicator with an ability to negotiate and influence others.

Essential Skills

Good standard of numeracy and literacy, ability to use MS Office.

Further Details

We offer a competitive salary dependent on experience. This is an office based role, with on-site car parking, working Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am to 5pm.
