Sales Advisor
to join our
Commercial Development and Sales
team at PRS for Music.
At PRS for Music, we operate a fully flexible hybrid working model. You will have the opportunity to work remotely and from our stunning London Bridge Hub, overlooking the Thames! We come together twice a week to collaborate, meet stakeholders, and for all other business needs.
As a Sales Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for handling incoming telephone and email enquiries relating to MCPS and PRS licensing schemes promptly and efficiently, providing excellent customer service to licensees and members and selling basic licenses as required.
You will also act as a support to the sales team in an administrative capacity; providing administrative and organisational support, fielding queries and suggesting solutions where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
Act as a point of contact for licensees / customers ensuring they have the required licences in place to deliver their services.
Assess incoming sales queries and using defined processes, either sell them a basic licence as defined by the rate card, direct them to the webshop, or direct them to the appropriate contact. Escalate complex sales to Consultants / KAMs.
On an ad hoc basis, undertake market research to identify opportunities for increased licence penetration and revenue growth.
Assist Sales Consultants to proactively follow up on leads and support Consultants in meetings with prospective clients to sell the benefits of using of our member's music as appropriate
Work closely with colleagues in the sales and operations teams to ensure efficient, timely and accurate flow-through of royalties and resolve internal queries e.g. reviewing cue sheets as they come in to see if the formatting is correct
Ensuring licensees are directed towards the correct tariffs / product owners and provide support to customers using the Cadence, our internal CRM
Support the sales team with general and ad hoc administrative duties. Duties to include (but not limited to), loading leads into our CRM, reviewing data, assisting with planning of licensee events, and processing cue sheets for invoicing
Work to deadlines whilst meeting departmental targets for both productivity and quality
Manage inbound customer calls 3-4 days a week, with the aim of hitting pick up and conversion rate targets
About you:
EssentialAbility to understand and interpret data, presenting information clearly and concisely
Prior experience using Microsoft Office software
Some experience in basic Sales roles, with a basic understanding of the end to end Sales process
Comfortable with proactive relationship building e.g. cold calling, answering inbound calls, networking at events
DesirablePrevious experience in administrative roles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including persuasive and assertiveness skills
* Experience in using a CRM e.g. Salesforce
