Sales Advisor (Hybrid Role) - Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities



Location:

Pendle Village, Furniture Department

Salary:

Minimum wage

+ uncapped commission

(Full-Time currently estimated at

27,000 per annum

)

Hours:



Part-Time: From 16 hours over 3-4 days Full-Time: 37.5 hours over 5 days

Shifts:

Daytime hours, including weekdays and weekends based on a team rota

About the Role



Pendle Village is looking for enthusiastic, confident, and self-motivated

Sales Advisors

to join our thriving Furniture Department. This is a hybrid role designed to give you a full end-to-end understanding of the customer journey--from helping customers choose their perfect furniture in-store to supporting the team that delivers it to their homes.

The core focus of the role is

in-store sales and customer service

, but you will also spend

1-2 days per week

supporting our delivery team. This hands-on experience not only strengthens product knowledge but also gives you a unique perspective on customer needs, quality control, and the overall buying experience.

Key Responsibilities


Sales & Customer Service

Engage with customers and provide tailored product recommendations Deliver a warm, professional, and memorable shopping experience Drive sales and consistently work towards personal and team targets Process customer orders accurately using our IT and POS systems Maintain strong knowledge of product ranges and current trends
Furniture Delivery Support (1-2 Days/Week)

Assist the delivery team with loading, transporting, and delivering furniture Provide friendly, reassuring service in customers' homes Help ensure products arrive in perfect condition and customer expectations are exceeded
Store Operations & Merchandising

Help maintain a clean, tidy, and inspiring showroom Move, display, and restock furniture as needed Support with basic computer tasks, including POS creation, emails, and stock management Contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-focused work environment

What We're Looking For



Strong customer service and communication skills Confident, positive, and eager to learn Good IT skills and proficiency in English Excellent time management and organisational abilities Comfortable with the physical aspects of moving and delivering furniture Previous retail or sales experience is preferred but not essential
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
