A J Mills Master Masons Limited has been established for over 30 years, mainly working within Kettering and the surrounding area. The past 5 years has seen a rapid expansion across the East Midlands, with the business entering into additional sectors. Our newest showroom was opened in April 2022 and has seen great success. We are now looking for someone to come on board and run the showroom in a customer facing role.

Our customers are recently bereaved and so a calm and empathetic manner is crucial in this role.

You will be responsible for guiding customers through the process of choosing and designing a memorial for their loved ones and making recommendations to suit their requirements. The role will require you to speak to suppliers, cemeteries and councils to arrange the installation of the memorial and you will be responsible for seeing the process through from start to finish.

As a new business to the town centre, this is a great opportunity for the ideal candidate to have a real input into the running of the showroom and be an integral part of our expansion.

All training on our systems and products will be given.

Key Skills:

Candidate must be computer proficient with experience on Word, Excel, Outlook. Professional and confident telephone manner and communication skills Well Organised and punctual Work well as part of a team A driven and meticulous approach to work as a close eye to detail is essential A warm and empathetic manner

Main Duties:

Meeting with and advising customers on our products and services that will suit their requirements Designing Memorials on our computer system (Full training will be given) Speaking with suppliers, cemeteries and councils to ensure that memorials are put up in an allocated time scale Working alongside the manufacturing team to ensure that projects are finished to the correct specification

Competitive salary with performance based quarterly bonus.

Working days will be five per week with two pre-arranged Saturdays per month. A day off during the week will be given during the weeks that a Saturday is worked.
