As a Sales Advisor at Wholesale Domestic, you will be the first point of contact for customers entering our Edinburgh showroom. Your primary responsibility is to welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them through our product range to deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You'll use your sales expertise to build rapport, handle objections, and close sales, while also supporting the wider sales team with follow-ups and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement:
Proactively approach and welcome customers as they enter the showroom, establish their needs and offer tailored advice.
Sales Process:
Build rapport with customers, present product solutions, handle objections, up-sell based on customer needs, and close sales to achieve personal and team targets.
Follow-Up:
Contact customers with outstanding estimates to convert them into sales, maintaining accurate records of all interactions.
Team Support:
Assist the wider sales team by reviewing and approving web orders, and completing other sales-related administrative tasks as required.
Product Knowledge:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product range and promotions to provide accurate information and recommendations.
Showroom Standards:
Ensure the showroom is always clean, tidy, and well-presented.
Order Handling:
Receive deliveries of customer orders, contact customers to arrange collections, and assist customers with their order collections to ensure a smooth and positive experience.
Person Specification
The successful candidate will thrive in a customer-facing role, be target-driven, and motivated by KPIs while ensuring customers have the best possible experience. The successful candidate will possess:
Minimum 1 year of experience in an in-person sales role
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Confidence using IT systems and learning new tools
Proactive approach to work
Confidence in handling objections and closing sales.
Bathroom retail experience would be preferable but if you're the right person, we can teach you all you need to know!

Additional Information
This is a part-time position that guarantees 12 hours per week, worked over Saturday and Sunday each week. Additional hours will be available on an ad-hoc basis.
