Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, dynamic and experienced flooring salesman to join our small, dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

In our flooring showroom, you'll be responsible for provide expert advice to help customers find the perfect flooring solutions for their homes or businesses. You'll combine product knowledge with a consultative sales approach to deliver an outstanding showroom experience from first contact to completed sale.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome customers to the showroom and create a positive, engaging shopping experience. Listen to customers' needs, style preferences, and budgets to recommend the right flooring options (e.g., Luxury vinyl tiles, hardwood, carpet, laminate, vinyl ). Provide accurate information on product features, benefits, warranties, and maintenance. Prepare price quotations, invoices, and sales orders accurately and efficiently. Follow up on leads and quotes to convert inquiries into sales. Maintain the showroom's presentation standards -- ensuring displays, samples, and promotional materials are up to date and visually appealing. Coordinate with installation teams to ensure smooth scheduling and delivery. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets.

Requirements

Experience in all things flooring particularly LVT Flooring Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade customers effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. A valid clean driving licence is required A commitment to always providing exceptional customer service.

Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional, friendly manner. Confident closing sales and achieving targets. Highly organized with attention to detail. Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours as required in a retail environment.
