Sales Advisor - Flooring Retail (Southport)

Location: Southport, UK

Salary: Competitive basic + commission on sales

Hours: Full-time (including some weekend work) 40 hours 9-5

20 days holiday plus bank holidays

About the Role

We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Sales Advisor to join our Southport team.

You don't need previous experience in flooring -- we can teach you that. What matters most is your character, your people skills, and your willingness to learn.

You'll be helping customers choose from our full range of flooring products -- from carpets and vinyl to our premium LVT collections -- providing genuine, honest advice to help them find the perfect solution for their home or business.

This is a face-to-face retail role where being approachable, trustworthy, and confident makes all the difference.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome customers into the showroom and provide a warm, professional service. Listen to customer needs and recommend suitable flooring options. Prepare accurate quotes and invoices using our in-store systems (basic IT skills required). Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing showroom. Follow up on enquiries and support customers throughout their journey. Achieve personal and team sales targets -- earning commission for every successful sale. Assist with displays, stock checks, and general showroom duties.
