We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused, Suitably Qualified Person (SQP) to join the team at our Kinross branch, based at Orwell Farm,, Kinross

About the role:

Position: Sales Assistant: SQP - AMTRA Location: McCaskie Country Stores, Orwell Farm, Kinross Hours: Full Time (participation in a Saturday rota)

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our product range to effectively communicate features and benefits. Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions while ensuring a positive shopping experience. Achieve individual sales targets while contributing to the overall success of the team. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Keep the sales area organised and visually appealing to enhance customer engagement. Participate in training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to build relationships quickly. A proactive attitude towards achieving sales targets and delivering outstanding customer service. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Previous experience in retail or sales is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is crucial. Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions accurately.
