We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Advisor to join our small sales team. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales of 1 to 2 years+, in a manufacturing environment, with the ability to deal with customers on the phone or face to face. As a Sales Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored solutions that enhance customer satisfaction. Your organisational skills and time management abilities will be crucial in managing multiple tasks while maintaining a focus on achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities
Dealing with customer enquiries, quotes and order processing
Developing new accounts and customers
Coordinate with our production teams in China to check product availability and lead times.
Process purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documentation. Track order status and communicate updates to clients and handle returns, warranty claims, or logistics issues.
Maintain customer databases and sales records. Generate reports on sales trends, lead register, or customer feedback. Assist with tender submissions or contract documentation.
Develop an understanding of technical drawings and material specifications (Steel/Stainless Steel). Learn technical specifications of manufactured products (e.g., machinery, components, raw materials). Provide basic technical support or escalate complex queries to engineers/sales managers.
Experience
Proven experience in a sales role 1 to 2 years, demonstrating the ability to drive results and negotiate effectively.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (industry-specific knowledge is a plus).
Strong customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient IT skills in MS Office (Excel, Outlook), .including experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), or CRM system.
Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Our parent company is in China and that is where our parts are manufactured. We provide the customer service and sales experience to our European customers. We have established trusted relationships with these customers and often travel to Europe to continue to strengthen those relationships.
