What will you be doing in more detail?
The Sales team is responsible for generating revenue from customers who have contacted the Customer Services department.
As a Sales Advisor within this team, you will be responsible for dealing with sales-related queries via phone, email and live chat, and will be expected to both maximise sales opportunities and assist customers with information and changes related to the progress and arrangements of the delivery of their product.
This is a Hybrid role, with our office based in Norwich, where you will be required to work on a regular basis. You will be part of a very supportive team and will receive feedback regularly to help you improve and develop, as well as ongoing training. You will be required to undertake your initial training with us in Norwich, so you will need to be available to attend team training and development days throughout your time with us.

Main responsibilities of the role include:
Taking and processing orders
Maximising revenue by spotting potential cross selling and upselling opportunities for associated product and delivery options
Working to revenue, CSAT and operational KPIs
Answering customer contacts via telephone, email and live chat within targeted times
Selling Upholstery Care Insurance
Reducing potential fraud risks by encouraging customers to make payment via secure methods
Processing orders via V12 Finance
Ready To Go/Fully Allocated Order Booking
Dealing with Post-Order enquiries, such as order amendments, delivery date changes and cancellation requests
Work seamlessly with the Complaints team to ensure escalations are handled without any loss in the customer experience

Qualifications, skills & experience:
Essential
Successful experience in a customer services/retail environment, achieving sales targets
Ability to work at pace
Ability to multi-task effectively, between our various methods of contact
Ability to work as part of a team, experience of supporting team members
Although not essential, it would be useful to have:
Previous experience in a furniture of homeware-related environment
Track record of succeeding with sales and achieving high service levels
