At East Riding Horticulture we're passionate about delivering quality products and excellent service to our customers across the horticultural and turf industries. Our business is growing, and we're looking for a friendly, proactive, and organised individual to join our sales office team.

The Role



As a

Sales Advisor

, you'll be at the heart of our customer operations -- working in a busy, customer-facing environment where no two days are the same. You'll handle enquiries, take orders, follow up with clients, and support our sales and logistics teams to ensure smooth service from start to finish.

This is a

hybrid proactive role combining customer interaction and office-based sales support

, ideal for someone who enjoys talking to people as much as they enjoy getting things done efficiently on the computer.

Key Responsibilities



Make outbound calls to existing and potential customers to generate repeat business and build relationships. Actively manage customer accounts. Providing and follow up quotes to new and existing customers. Handle incoming calls and emails from customers in a professional and friendly manner. Process sales orders accurately using our computer systems. Provide product information and advice to customers. Liaise with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries. Maintain accurate customer records and update databases. Support the wider sales team with reports, and general admin. Working towards KPI's and targets.

Skills & Experience



Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Confident telephone manner and a friendly, helpful approach. Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office; CRM or sales systems experience a bonus). Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks. Previous experience in sales support, office administration, or customer service preferred. Knowledge of the horticultural, agricultural, or turf industry would be an advantage, but not essential -- training will be provided.
