This position is based at our premises in Burnley, Lancashire. There is no hybrid or home-working possible for this role

Surteco UK is the worldwide leading supplier of surface technology in the field of decorative surface foils and edge banding based on high-tech special papers and thermoplastics. It is our declared aim to further expand global presence by means of internal and external growth in this field.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess Microsoft Excel skills.

As our Sales Data Analyst, you will be responsible for aspects of forecasting and stock management for products throughout our business.

This will involve analysing current stocks held, outstanding orders, and our future requirements.

Within this are other various tasks which include maintaining order analysis documents on Microsoft Excel and producing Stock Commitments for customers.

Duties

Collect, clean, and organise data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability. Develop and maintain reports to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and provide support. Apply Microsoft knowledge to supply data in user friendly and efficient manner. Update stock analysis reports and submit recommendations relating to the procurement of material.

Skills

Must LOVE spreadsheets and be highly proficient across Microsoft Excel Can understand Excel sheets, including the use of pivot tables and transferring data from a central system Experience using excel formulas such as VLOOKUP and LOGICAL functions Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to communicate data findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders. A team player, who can work autonomously as well as on their own Experience in business analysis is advantageous but not essential.
