What You'll Be Doing
As a Sales-Focused Account / Project Manager, you'll:
Drive Sales and Growth: Be actively involved in selling and promoting our new online brand, taking ownership of its growth and market presence.
Develop New Business: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, both for the new online venture and within our existing client base.
Build Strong Client Relationships: Act as the main point of contact, nurturing client satisfaction and loyalty.
Manage Projects Efficiently: Oversee the delivery of web and software projects, coordinating with our development and design teams.
Upsell and Expand Accounts: Spot opportunities to introduce clients to additional services such as design, development, marketing, and support.
Support New Brand Launch: Use your commercial acumen to generate leads and close sales for our new online brand.
Client Engagement: Keep clients informed through regular communication, managing expectations, and ensuring satisfaction.
Operational Excellence: Create and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring all deliverables are met.
Team Collaboration: Lead internal meetings, track project progress, and ensure tasks are on schedule.
Problem Solving: Proactively address issues, escalate risks when necessary, and maintain open lines of communication with internal stakeholders.
Sales Strategy: Work closely with leadership to develop and execute sales strategies for both the new brand and existing agency services.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, ideally within a digital or tech environment.
Commercially savvy with a track record of identifying and converting upsell opportunities.
Entrepreneurial spirit with the drive to build and grow a new online brand.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build lasting client relationships.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Self-motivated with a proactive, can-do attitude.
Comfortable working autonomously and making decisions to drive business success.
Desirable:
Experience in a digital agency or software house.
Familiarity with project tools like Jira, Slack, and Excel.
Knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g., Umbraco, WordPress, Contentful).
Understanding of how websites and web apps function.
Degree-level education or relevant certifications.
